LO-4100 Control Software
LinOptx provides APIs for TI (Texas Instruments) DLP®(TI copyright, Digital Light Processor) Discovery™ Evaluation Module.
- C++
- Matlab
- LabView
LinOptx provides APIs and demos for two DLP® operation modes:
Slow mode operation: Image is loaded to DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) directly.
Fast mode operation: Images are loaded to DDR SDRAM first, then displayed on DMD, to achieve high frequency operation.
DLP® 4100 DiscoveryTM Development kit
- APIs: basic functions for DLP® board control
- Demos: examples of image display for quick evaluation purpose
Currently, APIs are available for DLP®7000 and DLP®650LNIR.
LO-6500 Control Software
LinOptx provides APIs for TI (Texas Instruments) DLP®(TI copyright, Digital Light Processor) Discovery™ Evaluation Module.
- C++
- Matlab
- LabView
DLP® 6500 lightcrafter
DLP® LightCrafter™ 6500 is a high-performance evaluation module for high resolution application at a competitive price tag, used for, for example, 3D machine vision measurements and 3D printing. For convenient application, beyond the Graphical User Interface (GUI) provided by TI, LinOptx provides user friendly API software controls.
- TI has provided an excellent Graphical User Interface (GUI) for 6500.
- LinOptx provides APIs in C++, Matlab and LabView for basic applications
LO-FPGA Firmware
LinOptx provides FPGA based integrated feedback optimizations for scattering process evaluation
- Transmision Matrix(TM): order of miliseconds
- Genetic Algorithm (GA): order of seconds
- Customized FPGA design:
FPGA based automatic operation on D4100 DiscoveryTM Development kit
LinOptx also provides customized FPGA design for detector or camera (cameralink) based full integration in applications for imaging through dynamic scattering media.

How to select TI development boards and DMDs for my applications
TI development modules, DLP® Discovery™ 4100 development platform(D4100), and DLP® LightCrafter™ 6500 module (L6500) are popular development platform for various tests. Although the price tag is most important factor when the decision is made, (L6500 is cheapest among all possible compositions. L6500 is still a little bit cheaper that the lowest price tag of D4100@DLP7000), overall performance should be considered.
